We contribute to preventing suicide, poverty, mental health inequalities, and societal waste. 

 

We divert goods from landfills or fly-tipping, items that are no longer wanted or needed, from clothing and furniture to electric goods and bric-a-brac.

 

Our sale of preloved goods, distribution of donations, discounts to people and families in need, mental and emotional health services and social connection support are vital lifelines that our communities depend on.

International aid

We’ve supported Care Ukraine convoys with lorries carrying aid to those in dire need, supported by dedicated staff and 48 brave volunteers.

Armed Forces Covenant pledge

 

We support our armed forces community and have proudly signed the Armed Forces Covenant. Our Pledge outlines how we support Armed Forces personnel, families and veterans:

 

  • We promote that we're Armed Forces-friendly.

  • We will publicise Armed Forces Day and support related activities.

  • Offer social inclusion of all-age veterans and military family with volunteer opportunities and references for employment purposes.

  • Provide a 5% discount on all preloved hub shop purchases to Service personnel, reservists, veterans, and military families. 

  • Offer a 50% discount on employment interview clothing and footwear for veterans.

  • Offer our mental health and emotional wellbeing services to Service personnel, reservists, veterans, and military families.

  • Co-produce - actively seek feedback from Service personnel, reservists, and veterans on their life needs and barriers.
