Volunteer counselling placement enquiry

 

We offer valuable professional counselling development opportunities. We expect our volunteer counsellors to commit for a minimum of six months and see between three to six clients per week.

 

To be eligible, volunteers must have experience in mental health settings and be in their second year of study for a recognised professional body qualification.  

 

Volunteers must be in regular, ongoing personal therapy in line with the requirements set by their training organisation, and for this to continue throughout the period of placement.

 

Volunteers must organise and fund clinical supervision sessions in line with BACP guidelines and complete a DBS.
